In 2012 we got to know Paris. An 8 year old girl who suffered severe burns on her head and neck due to an accident at a fire place. Back in Germany we contacted hospitals who referred us to the medical team of Interplast. They operated on Paris in a hospital 800 kilometres from Puma in Tanzania for free and provided support. Through the support of many donars, we were able to raise the money for the cost of passports and travel so that Paris, along with her grandmother and Henry Ndurya, could travel to Tanzania in August 2013. Everything ran smoothly and after a few days Paris was back in Malindi. A huge adventure for Paris. She had never before left the small village from where she comes. Because the whole community was so proud of her, the school Paris attended since is named "St. Paris School ".
